What I Collect

This website collects information only when you send it to me:

• Contact form: your name, email address, the topic you choose, your message, and whether you’d like to join the newsletter.
• ARC reader application: your name, email address, preferred file format, favorite genres and tropes, why you’d like to join, whether you’ve been an ARC reader before, where you plan to review, your agreement to the non-disclosure terms, and, if you choose to share them, your book-related social media accounts and Goodreads link.
• Newsletter signup: your email address.

Like most websites, the server that hosts this site may also keep basic technical logs, such as IP addresses and browser types, for security and reliability.

How I Use It

• To read and reply to your messages.
• To review ARC applications, contact the readers I select, and send them early copies.
• To send you news about my books, such as new releases, cover reveals and giveaways, if you joined the newsletter.

I don’t sell, rent or trade your information.

Who Helps Me

A few trusted services help this website work, and they may handle some of your information:

• Web3Forms receives what you type into the forms on this site and emails it to me.
• Beehiiv is the newsletter service I use to manage my mailing list and send emails. Your signup arrives in my inbox, and I add subscribers to the list there.
• Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on this site. When a page loads, your browser contacts Google to fetch them, so Google receives your IP address and browser details, as it does for any site that uses its fonts.
• My web host stores and delivers the website and may keep standard server logs.

These services have their own privacy policies, and they only get the information they need to do their job.

Cookies, Analytics and Ads

This website does not use advertising, analytics, social media tracking pixels or cookies of its own. Newsletter emails sent through Beehiiv may include features such as open and click statistics. I plan to keep these switched off wherever the service allows.

Links to Other Websites

This site links to places where my books are sold and to my social media pages, such as Amazon, Apple Books, Google Play, Barnes & Noble, Walmart, Goodreads, Facebook and TikTok. Once you click through, those sites’ own privacy policies apply, and I don’t control what they collect.

How Long I Keep Information

I keep your messages, applications and newsletter signup for as long as I need them for the purposes above, or until you ask me to delete them. If you unsubscribe from the newsletter, I’ll stop emailing you.

Your Choices

• Unsubscribe anytime using the link at the bottom of every newsletter email.
• Ask to see, correct or delete the information I have about you by writing to me through the contact page.

Depending on where you live, such as California or the European Union and the United Kingdom, you may have additional rights over your personal information. You’re welcome to ask about them through the same page.

Children

This website is meant for adult readers and is not directed at children under 13. I don’t knowingly collect information from children.

Security

I take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no website or email service can promise perfect security.

Changes to This Policy

If I change how this website handles information, I’ll update this page and its date.
